Dear Editor -

I live in (area) of (Name of town). The water we are getting from the tap appears to be not clean. May be the water supply comes to us from a source which is near to some polluting area. For instance, I find that there are some chemical factories in the area, which may discharge their chemical effluents into the supply source. Also, it is found that the water pipelines are laid so close to the drainage system and the drain water might have got into the water pipeline at some point, due to wear and tear of the corroded pipelines. It is hoped that the concerned authorities will take suitable action soon to rectify the problem. If necessary, a sample of the water can be supplied for evaluation.

Dear Sir,

I would like to draw your kind attention through your daily towards saving water. In our area Lodhi garden, there were so many places where the tap is opened whole day and night because the tap is leaked and nobody taking care of that taps.

So I would like to say all the people that our future generations were not going to get one drop of water in future if we are not saving water for them from today.

So lets contribute a hand in saving water.
