The solidarity of South Asian part of the Continent was thought to come with a new beginning when at the time of when Narendra Modi invited all SAARC heads at his swearing-in ceremony.

Most importantly Indo-Pak ties were the important aspect of that.

But it didn’t last long as long trails of border skirmishes broke through and took a very ugly turn.
