Respected Sir,
Through the columns of your esteemed daily newspaper, I would like to highlight the problem of water scarcity being faced by the residents of this locality.
For the last three weeks Daoudpur Kaimhra under the District of Lakhimpur, Assam is receiving irregular supply of water. The acute scarcity of water is hardly sufficient for the daily basic needs. The residents here are being compelled to buy water at exorbitant rates.
Therefore, I earnestly request the concerned department and the authorities to look into the matter urgently. The crisis of water scarcity is a large problem. The small lakes, ponds and rivers are all polluted and unusable. So it is imperative to construct more wells and restore regular supply of clean water.
