During the time of rain and flash flood, the area also floats in the sewage water. The main holes are blocked due to which all the sewage systems usually overflow. The lack of a proper drainage system results in the spread of a number of water-borne diseases.

Out of concern for the residents of my neighbourhood, I am writing this letter. They are having a lot of issues with Assam's drainage system. Many people lost their homes as a result of the flash flood. The inhabitants of Assam have been impacted by the drainage system. Viral illness affects the residents of Assam, making it impossible for kids to attend school and for workers to go to work. Homes in the slum neighbourhood are destroyed by water seeping into the region.
People who live in low-lying areas are severely affected by floods and landslides. This requires action on the part of the drainage system. I hereby demand that this matter be rectified as quickly as possible.
Please make this issue public in your newspaper for the benefit of the public and to make it known to higher authorities so that prompt action can be made to address the critical problem.
