Sir,

       Through the columns of your esteemed daily, I would like to draw the attention of concerned authorities towards one of the most trending topic nowadays i.e. Corona Virus (COVID-19).

        I am deeply concerned about the advice of rapid testing needed nowadays. A person should ask to be tested only if they have the symptoms (same as flu and/ or respiratory virus with fever) and if they have recently traveled to an affected country or had contact with an infected person. Look, these symptoms can be mild, so that half the country could have the coronavirus and think they have a cold or flu.

       If we only test this narrowly defined group, we will miss any epidemic until it is full blown. We will probably only end up testing those who are hospitalized and on the edge of death.

        We need to engage in broad scale testing to isolate the infected and to prepare for the possibility of an epidemic. I have read that the tests can be manufactured easily and administered easily. Please report on this approach rather than just parroting the CDC.

       I hope that you will pay attention to this topic and publish it in your newspaper.

     I am the resident  of naveli nagar and a great reader of your magazine/newspaper . I have written this letter to u so that u can publish this to create awareness for the outbreak of this pandemic.

   We have seen that many covid-19  cases are increasing day by day.

719 People have died in Telangana  and many are hospitalized in telangana. This disease affects the respiratory system causing difficulty in breathing .According to the doctors, not maintaining the social distance is the main reason for the outbreak of this pandemic . There is no still vaccine/medicine in the present .The doctors are trying their best to  cure the patients .

Avoid going to crowded places , wash your hands every time , wear masks , avoid touching the face and maintain social distance .I kindly request you to publish this in newspaper to create  awareness .
