Subject: Garbage dumps in the locality

If garbage heaps dot a residential area , it not only presents an unpleasant sight but is also a potential health hazard. This is precisely a problem in the part of the capital which I seek to bring to the notice of the concerned authorities through the columns of this newspaper.

In my locality there are numerous vacant plots that are being invariably and insensitively used by the public to dump the garbage. The foul smell in the air is unbearable not to mention the cause of an outbreak of infectious diseases.

Attempts to counsel the people on the importance of community hygiene are being counter argued that in the absence of proper dumping sites or dustbins, vacant plots is their only option.

It is important that both public as well as authorities take up a collective responsibility to maintain a clean environment and contribute to a common good.

Subject :- Regarding not clearing of garbage in locality.

I am writing this letter to express my problem regarding not clearing of garbage in our locality and I just want to draw the attention of concern authorities toward my problem through your esteemed newspaper.

From many days , We are collecting the garbage in a vacant plot but none government vehicles are coming in our society to collect the garbage . And due to this the garbage is getting stored at a single place , which affect the human beings by creating many problems like - bad smell , increasing mosquitoes , harmful germs etc.. this problem not affect only human beings but also the animals as well . Animals are eating those garbage and get badly affected.

I have given many application to the government offices regarding my problem, but all are in vain. I hope that this letter might awake the concern authorities from their long sleep. And hope they will take some actions to solve my problems. Kindly give it a space in the front page of your esteemed newspaper.
