Sir:
I am writing this letter to your good self to express my concern over the issue of smoking at a very early age which further leads them to drug addiction. This spoils their life. Causes of smoking are many. One starts this harmful habit in the company of bad friends, loneliness, or by watching actors in the movies. These smoking scenes in movies depicting cine stars smoking has many adverse effects on the viewers, especially the youngsters. These scenes abet them to smoking.
Smoking causes lung cancer, cancer of the larynx, chronic bronchitis, and emphysema. The Government must ban smoking to discouraging it among people. Through the medium of your daily I appeal to people and the Government to take strict measures to discourage smoking among children.
