Dear Editor     

   I shall feel grateful to you if you please publish the following lines in the column of your esteemed daily on the most burning issue a dowry system.

                      This system is become so common in our country. There are many families who demanded dowry with bride, even sometime they made a list of things they needed. If bride's family don't be able to give enough dowry or to give dowry according to their demand then that will badly affects on bride's life after marriage, even some illiterate husbands start beating , torturing their wives. Because of this many sensitive girls have refused to get married early and start doing hard job to make her dowry strong and in the result they get overage.

                                                   This is not even a part of Islam. Our ancestors just inspired by our neighbors India and took all their cultures and traditions as their owns. So for God's sake time has changed, this dowry system should be banned all over the country. And even after that if any family demand for that, then they should be strictly punished by the government.
