Through the columns of your esteemed newspaper, I would like to draw the kind attention of the concerned authorities towards the importance of tourism in our country.

We have a rich culture of heritage which we all cherish. We have innumerable tourist destinations which if used to their full potential can bring a lot of development in the country.

Improving tourists industry in India would thus lead to national development in many spheres. It will have many positive effects on our economy. With heavily visited tourist destinations being well - maintained,it helps in the improvement in the standard of living of locals.

Therefore, the need of the hour is to pay proper attention to this booming sector.
