Dear Council, 


Hope this letter finds you well, my name is Gary Collins, and I’m a tenant at 132 Victoria Street. I’m writing this letter to you in order to pay your attention to a big hole in the middle of the high way road next to Victoria Street. 


The problem happened last week when I was going back home, suddenly the traffic became overcrowded, and firemen spread in all over the road. However, they put signs to indicate the site of the hole and to prevent drivers to pass through that road. Accordingly, they redirected the drivers to an alternative road which is longer than the first one. 

As the time passed, I find that no action was taken to fill the hole or to re-paving the road. Naturally, I contacted the road service department by phone. The traffic emergency officer informed me that the area manager is on vacation and no one is available now to take any further action. I was very surprised to discover such neglect in a governmental department, and amusingly asked myself, where is the tax money we pay to pave the roads?!
