I request you to publish this letter in the appropriate columns of esteemed newspaper and cooperate to bring attention of all to issue of wasteage of food especially in occasions like marriage.
I have recently attained a marriage occasion in our neighborhood and observed that a lot of food was wasted in the ceremony. I request all readers to please help in reduce wasteage of food as you all know many places in contemporary India suffer from acute food shortages. We can contribute at personal level and help improve condition. So take just as much as you can eat. I prefer buffet system be followed in such occasions.
I hope with active participation of all of us we will be able to reduce food wasteage and ensure food security to all.
