Subject: Poor Unkempt Condition of Local Parks

Sir:

I am writing to bring to your kind notice the poor and unkempt condition of public parks in our colony. Ever increasing pollution, contracting open space due to urbanization and industrialization, increasing traffic on roads, etc. all have contributed to the deterioration of environment and human health. And absence of open spaces in the modern colonies, townships, and residential areas has further aggravated the problem.

The only source of relief in such a scenario are the public parks; but that too have fallen prey to the evils mentioned above; apathy of the Municipal authorities has further deteriorated the condition. They have been converted into dumping grounds or spaces for organizing functions.

The worst lots that have been affected are: the young children, and the old people, besides all age group people. How unfortunate are the growing children! They don’t have any space left to play and have fun. The few parks there are have been very badly maintained. They have either been encroached or in such a bad shape, that children fear going there.

The Municipal Corporation must maintain these parks properly. I appeal to your good self to look into the matter and do the needful. These parks not only enhance the beauty of the surroundings, but also are attractive places to have fun and play. Looking forward to prompt response from your side.

dear sir,

This is to draw your attention to the condition of the local park. as every day to day pollution is increasing and for this only traffic on road is also increasing, human's health diseases etc. the parks have no workers in it. the flowers are drying and now there was no flowers in the park. the gates are jammed. In this park people come for fitness but now they can't.

therefore, I would be grateful to you if you kindly look into the matter and help in getting necessary arrangement made to provide good facilities in the park...
