Sir,
with due respect, I would like to inform you that I am a resident of _ _ _ _ of late, the place has become very notorious. Everyday there are incidents of theft have been happening. I beg to report the theft of my bicycle from the State Bank of India, _ _ _ _ .It was a new Ladybird of pink colour. It's number was _ _ _ _ . It had a dynamo light. The original receipt I enclosed herewith as proof of my ownership. The bicycle was lost today between 10.25 am to 10.45 am. I had gone into the bank to deposit some cash. I had locked my bicycle. I had kept it inside the compound. There was a lot of rush on the bank. When I came back after twenty minutes my bicycle was missing. I made enquiries from the tea stall and other vendors. All my efforts to trace the bicycle have failed.

In this circumstances, I request you to investigate the matter and get the bicycle traced and restore it to me as soon as possible.
