Sir,

With due regret I wish to inform you that in spite of repeated requests

the street lamps of S.C Road are still non-functional. On behalf of all the residents of the area, I am earnestly urging you to look into the matter and get the lights fixed.

Jemua is a very desolate place. The entire S.C Road has deep forests flanking on both sides. The forests are a favourite haunt for wild animals and road-side robbers. When the street lamps do not function the entire area is plunged into pitch darkness.

The previous night four cars were barricaded and looted. Due to the absence of light the robbers could not be identified.

Some time back there was a herd of elephants on the road. Being a moonless,cloudy night, a cyclist could not see them and was trampled to death. If the lights are not repaired there will be many more calamities.

I thus request you to take immediate action and hear our plea.
