Respected Sir,

I beg to inform you my parents wanted to take me on a tour to visit some of the most important historical places in India. Hence they have advised to take leave from school for a week.

Therefore, I earnestly request you to grant me 6 days leave, from 22nd to 27th October.

I am aware that it is not advisable to take leave as I will not be able to complete the class syllabus. But I will study harder and longer than before to catch up with the classes I have missed and be among the top students in the exam result.
