Dear Harsh:
I hope this letter finds you in
great health and cheerful mood. I am writing this letter to share with you a
recent courageous act that I felt compelled to perform. I thank the day I
learnt swimming. I did not know my swimming skills would save someone’s life! I
had been enjoying boat riding with the family at Rishikesh. Suddenly, a young
girl who was in the boat with us fell into the river. Without thinking much I jumped
into the river. If I had delayed a little longer, the current of the water
would have taken her far. Thankfully there were other swimmers on the boat who
jumped also for help. I thank God for having enabled me to save a drowning
girl. First time in my life I have realized how great one feels after helping
someone in trouble. The rest is fine. Give parnam to uncle and aunt.
