Subject: Shortage of water
Dear Sir,
As a resident of ABC Apartments, we have been facing an acute crisis of water shortage in our area for the past two weeks now. As it's been too long now, I am writing to you requesting you to please look into the matter and resolve it as soon a possible as it is really hard to survive in this condition.
If you could repair the pipe on time, this thing wouldn't have happened so often. Also, even if the pipes were to be damaged so often, if the water department could provide other alternative for the residents to get water, that will still be fine. But as seen, nothing has been done.
I would be really grateful to you if you could look into the matter at the earliest. Thanking you.
Regards,
Mr. Sharma.

We are required to write a letter to the District Chief executive telling him about the acute shortage of water in our area and we need to suggest two ways of solving the problem. This is done as under:
From,
Perrina Babani,
26 Ramalingam street,
Chennai.
To,
The District Chief Executive,
PWD Chennai.
Respected Sir,
There is an acute water shortage being faced by the residents of Ramalingam Street, Tambaram.
For the last two weeks, there has been no water supply in our area.
I am requesting you to kindly look into this matter and take corrective action.
It would be prudent to look into borewells as an option.
Also, a tanker water supply would be much appreciated.
Thanking you,
Yours Sincerely,
Perrina Babani.
