Dear Father:

I hope this letter finds you in great health and high spirits. I am writing to you to seek your permission to join an educational trip being organized by our school. After the first term exams, the school is organizing a weeklong trip from October 5 to October 11, 2017 to South India. Mysore, Ooty, Bangalore will be the destinations. My classmates are also going to join the trip. The cost of the trip is rupees 15000/- If you think it is right, kindly send me the money latest by September 20, 2017. The rest is fine. My exams are going on well. Give regards to mother and grandparents.
