Letters can be broadly classified into 2 types .

They are ;

• Formal letter

• Informal letter

Formal letter : -

These letters are written in a formal manner .

The word " formal " means in a dignified manner .

Generally , these type of letters are written to High personalities .

Such as , Principal , Manager , Editor etc .

Informal letter : -

These letters are written in an informal manner .

The word " informal " means in a casual way .

Generally, these type of letters are written to our beloved ones .

Such as , Father , Mother , Friends etc .

So,

The letter which we need to write is an informal letter . Since , she is your favourite teacher .

My dear teacher ,

I am safe here and hope the same from you mam . Receiving your letters time to time and what's about you mam ? Due to this lockdown I am having a lot of free time . So, that is why I decided to write a letter to you mam .

In this letter I want to convey you about what I used to like about your class and also I want to suggest some suggestions . As you know that in the senior block every students like the manner you teach because we are able to grasp the content what you are explaing as fast as possible. Moreover, instead of giving written homeworks . You used to give us reading homework we used to love . Similarly, if you feel something is difficult to understand you used to take us to Audio Visuals classes also. However, mam we used to have only some session of your teachings remaining main syllabus is taught by someother mam but we aren't able to understand . So, please mam you try explaining hard topics and lessons .

Mam please provide as with as much extra information you have because it may help in future . So,this is what I want to convey you mam through this letter . Thanking you .

LETTER

Formal letter

They are written with whom we have no personal relationship. Related to business, application letters to principal, applications, letters to government departments, letters to the editor, etc. are called formal letters. The language of formal letters is simple and dignified. These papers only talk about work or your problem.

Informal letter

It is written to those with whom we have a personal relationship. Informal letters are written to people in your family such as parents, siblings, relatives and friends to ask about their well-being, invitations and information etc. Language can be relaxed a little in these papers. The number of words in these letters can be unlimited because these letters also include the things around here and there.
