My dear Manish,
How are you? Hope you are enjoying good health and happiness. As you know recently the government declared that the Rs 500 notes will not be acceptable. It came as a surprise to all the people. But they managed their finances smoothly. Many of them went and stood in long queues outside the banks to exchange the 500 rupee notes. Some of them rushed to the ATMs and got the money.
On the whole the people cooperated with the government and found some way or the other to manage their expenses. The government also offered some help by asking the banks to remain open on holidays for the convenience of the people.
How was the situation in your place? Do tell me all about it. How are aunty and uncle? Convey my regards to them.
