Hope this letter finds you hale and healthy. I am writing to express my excitement on winning first place in the nationwide photographic competition which was held last month. The National Photographic Association had announced for the wildlife photographic competition during the month of May. There were 4000 entries at the initial stage and after shortlisting, there were around 600 entries for the final round. The photographers need to present their entries and give a short presentation for 10 minutes.
I focused on capturing a candid image of a tiger family playing at the forest of Calcutta. The cub was standing between the parents and walking with a pride. I have named the picture as “Pride of India” since Tiger is our national animal. The picture came out impressively which did precursor for my success. Thanks for all your support without which I would not have won the competition. Also, I would like to invite you for the exhibition on 25th October in which my photographic entry will be displayed to the audience. Looking forward to your presence.

Firstly, the reason I am writing this letter is to share a good news with you. Last month, in my office, a photography event held where more than 100 people have participated. As you know about my passion for photography, hence, I have also shared one of the photos(photo) from my collection. Fortunately, among such talented people, I have managed to bag the first prize and couldn't resist to share my happiness with you.
However, if you can recall, the photo I have clicked of two school going children, when we have been to Manali two months back. The same photograph I had sent for the competition and it was admired by many judges. Moreover, they have provided special comments that the candid capture of children's expression reveals(reveal) their internal feelings, therefore, it was considered as one of the best photo among many.
Now the best part is, my award winning photo is being sent to one of the national exhibition in Pune. Thus, I am requesting and inviting you to join me for this very proud moment of my life. I wish you would be able to come to(for) this event to make it more special for me.
