Dear Friend,
It has been a long time since I wrote to you. I am fine and I hope you too. I am writing this letter to describe my recent experience that I had in a government hospital.
We have been to some hospital in our life time. This was my first time to such government hospital. I have never seen such menace in any hospital. There was no proper enviroment for the patients. No proper beds. No proper drinking water. No proper medicine. No proper restrooms. I am planning to write a letter to the government regarding this one.
We have to meet and talk about this. Kindly mention when you are coming to the town in your reply.
Bye.

Dear Nirupama,
Hoping that you are fine and safe in spite, of this pandemic and I am hoping that your family is too safe. I was very busy these days due to my house surgeon period in my college and was tightly held up with a lot of duties. I would like to share that I am finally graduated and now I am a professional doctor.
I hope that this would bring a smile to your face on reading this letter as now you can proudly say that "Your friend is a doctor". Amidst my graduation, I would like to share my first experience on ward duty in the hospital.
I reached the hospital too early at 6 as there was an emergency case. I entered the operation theatre to assist the chief doctor and found that it was a pregnancy case. I was able to feel the pain that the mother was undergoing during the entire struggle to push the baby out.
She was screaming in pain and I was trying to soothe her making her abdomen relax by rubbing her belly.
After a struggle of nearly 4 hours, she delivered a baby girl. Interestingly, I was the first person to hold the baby out in my hands. The baby was so gentle and pure and I went emotional looking at that tiny creature.
The lady thanked the entire team a lot for making delivery very safe and natural. I had a soul satisfaction after reaching out to the operation theatre. Later, I went for rounds to check after other patients in the in-patient ward. This really gave me a good experience and I was able to feel how every life on earth is very important.
The experience was a very admirable one for me and I will never forget it in my life. I thought of sharing the same with you. We shall meet this month's end in Chennai and hang out so that I can share a lot more with you.
Yours lovingly
Amritha
