Eid Milad Un Nabi is celebrated to pay tribute to the birth of Prophet Muhammad. It is celebrated during the third month of the Islamic year. It is also known as Mawlid or Mawlid al-Nabi al-Sharif. Prophet was born on the 12th day of Rabee ul Awwal in Mecca in 570 CE. This year the Sunni community will celebrate it on 29th October and 3oth October.

In some Muslim majority countries such as India, Iran, and Sri Lanka Mawlid is declared as a public holiday. People observe fast and sing poetry and hymns in honor of the Prophet. Grand street processions are held as a dedication of pure love to the Prophet.

Eid Milad Un Nabi brings people together. Celebrate this festival with your loved ones by sharing these warm wishes and quotes with them. Upload Facebook and Whatsapp status to celebrate the birthday of the Prophet.
