Dear Uncle,

I am extremely happy to write in this letter an account of the experiences of my trekking expedition. I feel that if you were not there to back me I would not have had the opportunity of seeing such beautiful sense of nature.

Rakshat Sahni and I reported at Base Camp, Raison direct from home. Two days passed I acclimatization and elementary rock climbing. The next day we trekked to Jana, 9 km from Raison and the next day we reached Matikochar, 14 km from Jana. The trek lay between rocks covered with luscious greenery and trees. The Beas River was not far away from the trek. Matikochar is at a height of 8,500 ft. it is full of rare beauty surrounding it. The next day, we started trekking at 9 am and reached Pinni after crossing Ringta Bridge. The sky was overcast with clouds in the evening. But the next morning the weather became clear. All along we enjoyed the scenes and weather.

After a day’s rest, we trekked to Chhalal, 13 km away from Pinni. Bow the trekking was easy. On way, we saw some rare birds and fantastic green meadows. It was grand spectacle of nature in its pristine glory. The next day we reached Mnikaran Hot Water Springs. I was overjoyed to feel the heat of the water. It is really a miracle here. The water gurgles as if boiling. They say is medicinal.

The next day we trekked back to Raison. It took us a week to reach Raison. Really, this was a lovely experience of my life. It shall remain embedded in my memory as was the scene of beautiful Daffodils to Wordsworth.

My regards to dear aunt and love to Pretty.
