On the first day that I went to school it felt like what I imagine it’s like visiting a new planet. I was sitting in a large room I've never been in before which was full of things called desks and carpet and walls that were really different from the ones back home and a bunch of other 6 year olds, but all of them have different faces, you know. Like on a new planet though. I didn’t know any of them, but I was chilling though.
A kid was wailing with tears he was upset, causing a big scene. He was really kicking around—fighting against his mom or some adult as she tried putting him on the mat that all the other kids were sitting on. He kept talking, “I don’t want to go to schooolll!”. He soon was sat there though.
After he stopped crying, the parent walked out the door and I remember the white light from the outside slowly getting slimmer and slimmer until it disappeared for sure. The outside was gone now, so I turned around and looked at all these other kids gawking around, just as curious as I was though.
I saw a kid spinning in circles on the mat using his feet to propel himself. He was slow though. I didn’t really mean to challenge that kid directly, but I wanted to see if I could do it, too. No…better.
Now I started spinning in circles. Faster, and faster though. It was kind of fun, I really liked it, too. Then the teacher sat down. I didn’t really pay attention to what she was saying or if she even said anything. I wanted to and I would’ve—right after I was finished spinning. That’s all it was. Like an itch though, you know. She started talking some stuff to get the first day started. And saw me.
I had to pull a yellow card after that. :/
That’s right, the first day of my first time being in a school, ( I was too kewl for preschool, so I skipped that), I really was the first one to pull a warning card in not even the first five minutes that class started.
Maybe that foreshadowed something. I’m still not sure yet.
