Dear Friend (Name) !

Hope you are fine with a fit and healthy life! I am good here after long tiring exams!

Summer vacations are soon to start and it's been a long since we last met. I have planned out some activities for this summer break which include a fun filled time with creative explorations.

I have decided to pay visit to some historically important places in the city that are full of  amazing wanders and facts, one must explore in life. These include some museums and national monuments.

I have also planned a camping and hiking with my friends that would probably be a lot more fun!

A couple of my friends have decided to join me up with my plans. I so invite you as well to join us in our fun which would also give us a chance of a re-union!

Ask your parents for the permission and let me know with your plans.

Hope you get the permission and join us in the expected fun filled plan.

Pay regards to uncle aunt. Awaiting for your positive response!

Your Friend,

Dear Shivam,

Thank you very much for your letter. This summer was a memorable one. In June, I went to a school camp. It was very interesting. There we were getting ready for the upcoming exams, went to the pool, a library, an exhibition hall, visited the archive, which stores old letters, newspapers, magazines, books on the Great Patriotic War.

July was the most memorable month. I spent it in Lucknow with relatives. The weather was wonderful. All-day long we swam in the river, sunbathed, examined the local attractions, visited the museum, cinema, and a huge gift shop. The sea was so good I did not want to leave it.

August I spent at home. I finally managed to read the book by R.L Stine's "Goosebumps". I also began to learn classic Indian flute. This instrument is very beautiful. In the evening, I was walked with friends, together we are having fun.

Tell us more about your visit to Delhi.  What was the most unforgettable? What did you eat in the local restaurants?

I look forward to your next letter.

Yours affectionately,

Shivu
