Dear Subhash,

How are you? I am fine. In this letter, I am going to tell you about my quarantine days during the lockdown period.

I am a very lazy person. But I learnt cooking in this lockdown. I love having fast foods but cannot go outside to have this in lockdown situation. So, I tried to make one item daily and most of these tasted good.

Tell me something about your lockdown days. I will be waiting for your reply. Take my love.

Yours lovingly,

Raj

INFORMAL LETTER

Sender's Address, (in 3 lines)

Date :-

Dear XYZ, (Your friend's name)

I am fine here with good mood and health and hope that you are also fine at your place. As you know, the pandemic has limited all of us to our homes. We cannot go out as the virus is deadly and it is not at all safe to go out in such a condition.

But this time can also be used wisely. As we all are at our homes, we can use this time to brush up our skills or we can learn something new. The lockdown has also taught me many things. I tried cooking the things which I never in my life thought I would. The online recipe videos and with my mother's help I was able to cook new things like Momos, Golgappe, Paapdi, Tikki and many more. Street food is like love for me and when it's home-made then it gives a different pleasure. I also started doing aerobics and dancing which I used to do a lot in past years but due to studies I wasn't able to continue it. I was also thinking to start with my drawings again but wasn't sure about it. As you know, I use to draw a lot earlier. I am thinking to start with it again.

I am excited to know about the new things you tried in the lockdown. Just share it with me. I will be waiting for your letter.

Give my regards to uncle and aunt and love to your sister.

Yours friendly,

ABC (Your name)
