write a letter to your friend telling him the importance of biodegradable and nonbiodegradable in your house
Answers
Dear friend
I hope this letter of mine finds you in good health.
I recently happened to attend a seminar on the environmental issues & how to contribute towards dealing with the factors that causes environmental hazards.
One such act or rather behavior that we can adopt in our lives, starting at our homes is the garbage management. Seems like managing a big project. But it surely contributes the global causes.
As we know that garbage consists of two broadly classified wastes namely biodegradable and non-biodegradable . Biodegradable wastes include food wastes, paper etc while the non-biodegradable wastes include plastic, glass, iron , etc.
This segregation concept encourages us to use to dustbins that are colored green and blue. The green dustbin is for the bio-degradable waste and the blue one is for the non-biodegradable waste. This segregation allows the proper disposal of the wastes & also the proper recycling is achieved using this method.Bio-degradable wastes are easily decomposed & can be used in farms as manure while non-biodegradable waste such as plastic, glass etc can be taken to factories for the recycling to be used again .
I hope you will understand it and try to start segregating waste as soon as possible.
With regards
Yours affectionately

Hi Ramya,
Hope you are fine.
I have attended a seminar recently on the environmental issues and garbage management.
There are two types of garbage wastes namely biodegradable and non- biodegradable .
This separation idea encourages us to use to dustbins that are colored green and blue. The green dustbin is for bio-degradable waste and the other one blue for the non-biodegradable waste. This separation allows the proper disposal of the wastes & also the proper recycling is achieved using this method.
This recycling will stop the plastic waste from lying on the infertile land & creating harmful chemicals, poisonous gas or copper salt from copper wire wastes , into the environment causing air and soil pollution . It can enter the food chain as well through water pollution in addition.
So, we should start the garbage separation as soon as possible in our homes for a healthy living
