My Dear Mother,
I hope this letter finds you in good health. As you know that I have been a member of the Youth Club in our college for 2 years now. Yesterday, the chairman of our club announced that a world tour has been organized by the club and all members are invited to join them.
The cost of the tour would be managed by the club funds and all the travel expenses including the food and hotel accommodation will also be met by the club funds.
I am writing to you to ask for your permission to allow me to join the tour. It is an life time opportunity for me, which I don't want to miss. Hope you understand that.
