Write a letter to your sister describing how you have prepared for the coming
examination

Answer:
My dear Didi,
Your affectionate letter reached me last evening. You want to know about my studies and preparations for the coming annual examination. I shall certainly write all about it.
The examination comes off on the 25th March—that is only a fortnight hence. Unlike other examinations, this seems to be a dreadful thing, for I am not yet fully prepared for it. As you know, I remained ill for over a month in January and February and even now I feel I have not recovered my former state of health. In addition to this our English teacher remained on leave throughout February and so no revision could be done of our English course. Earlier in the session the boys had gone on strike for over two weeks, and consequently our studies suffered for almost a month.
Owing to all these factors I am much worried. The time is very short at my disposal. I wonder if I shall be able to go through all my course books thoroughly, even once, to say nothing of having one or two revisions. The school is now closed for preparatory leave and it is difficult to meet our teachers, unless we go to their homes. The only source of hope and guidance seems to be in one of my friends, Ramesh, who is the brightest student of the class and is well prepared. I study with him every day for more than three hours and get my difficulties removed. He is very kind and helpful and encourages me in every way.
Incidentally I remember that you made some good notes on History and Geography last year when you passed the High School Examination. Please send them by courier at once, for I am sure they will prove quite helpful to me.
With best respects to morn and papa.
Yours affectionately,
