Dear Uncle,
Hello! How are you? I hope everyone must be doing well there. I am also fine here. As you know Gandhi Jayanti is celebrated with great joy enthusiasm in our school every year. 2nd October is the birthday of the great freedom fighter Mahatma Gandhi who taught us the path of truth and non-violence. His bravery and idealistic thoughts and his contributions are celebrated on this day. Like every year, today, a ceremony was organized in the school on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti.
After garlanding the portrait of the great man, various episodes of their exemplary lives were mentioned by the Principal and other teachers and it was also decided to bring Gandhiji's life, thoughts, and actions into his life. The students proceeded with rallies to aware people to walk on the path of truth while later his ideals were reflected through several dramas and nukkar nataks. Honorable principal ma'am gave her speech on the ideals of Gandhiji in life and how we as students should follow them to become good humans, responsible citizens, and successful individuals in life. I was very inspired by his thoughts and I've decided to follow his ideals in life.
