Dear Sumitra:
I hope this letter finds you in sound health and upbeat spirits. I am writing to you to advise you to take part in co-curricular and extracurricular activities enthusiastically. There is no doubt you are a great student with excellent academic record; but this is not the end result of education. One must develop all sides of one’s personality. CBSE has made it mandatory for schools to organize co-curricular and extracurricular activities at schools during the academic year.
These activities make students physically and mentally strong. They add confidence to personality. Excellence in these activities is in great demand in the corporate world. They are indicators of one’s leadership qualities. I hope you will start taking part in these activities and don’t lose the opportunity to make yourself an all-rounder. The rest is fine. Give parnam to dear Mom, Dad, and Grandparents.
Yours lovingly,
Avinash Singla
