Step-by-step explanation:

Let, the linear equation is

ax + by + c = 0...........(i)

Where, a, b and are constants and a>0

Now for the point(-2,-2),

x=-2;y=-2

pitting the values in equation (i)

a(-2)+b(-2)+c=0

=>-2a-2b+c=0

=>2a+2b=c............(ii)

Now for the point(0,0),

x=0;y=0

pitting the values in equation (i)

a(0)+b(0)+c=0

=>c=0

Therefore, from equation (ii)

=>2a+2b=0

=>a=-b

So from the equation we get.....

ax + by + c = 0

=>ax-ay+0=0

=>ax=ay

=>x=y

=>x-y=0

Therefore the required equation is

x-y=0
