A nation's growth, development and future are in the hands of future generations. The shaping of future generations can only happen with proper education. Teachers take up the difficult task of shaping those young minds, cultivating not only educational stuff but also manners and good habits.
Albert Einstein once said, "It is a supreme art of the teacher to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge". Teachers have an influential role in molding the future of a student. They put in a lot of effort and toil a lot of time to improve the students.
Therefore as students, it is our responsibility to recognise the effort and devotion of those teachers who ensure that we lead a better life. Teaching is the most selfless form of work and doesn't expect anything in return. Teachers are to be respected, applauded and celebrated.
To celebrate the unsung heroes, India on September 5th celebrate Teacher's day, on the birthday of the late Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan as a mark of tribute and honour to the tireless contributions teachers have been making since the beginning of civilisation. Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second president of India, was a very intellectual man, and he believed in sharing his knowledge with the younger generation.
