Teacher's day is usually observed all over India in memory of Dr Sarvepali Radhakrishnan , a great philosopher , teacher and the first Vice -President of India . He later became the president of India .
Usually on Teacher's Day every class in the school welcomes its teachers , and a small variety programme is held . It is organized entirely by the students themselves .
This year , our class teacher , Miss .Priya Kale was to leave the school at the end of the term . She was an excellent teacher and we all loved and respected her very much . So we decided to make teacher's day a special one for her. When she walked into the class we rose and wished her . Mohit went up to her and gave her a bouquet of flowers . Then Rani gave a wonderful speech . There were tears in our teacher's eyes .
She spoke to us and told us to be good children and to remember all good things she taught us . We felt very sad that she was leaving our Sanskar High School forever .
