The sewage leakage and stagnation of dirty water on the roads in Pink Avenue, Sundar Nagar, Ludhiana continues to linger on. The manholes on the roads are either broken, uncovered posing danger to the commuters and people travelling on the roads. Dirty, stinky water from them keeps oozing incessantly that remains stagnated on the road. Passing vehicles throw this water on pedestrians or people on two wheelers. Many accidents also take place quite frequently. The residents took to roads in a protest march up to the Municipal Corporation Office and demanded quick solution to the problem of poor sewage. The Mayor promised to take quick action in this regard.
