8 Year Old Kid Attacked by Tiger at Rajiv Gandhi National Park

In a very unusual incident an 8 year old kid was attacked by a tiger when he was watching him standing very close to the safety wire-net. The mother of the kid said they were standing very close and gesturing the tiger when with the speed of lightning the tiger pounced on them. The attack injured the boy’s hand but no serious damage was done except a few deep grazes. When Mr. Pant, the caretaker of the tiger’s enclosure was asked about the unusual behavior of the tiger, the caretaker replied it was usual. He said, ‘There is clear warning written on the wire net saying ‘Stay Away from the Safety Wire Mesh’. Still people don’t pay heed to it.’

The Rajiv Gandhi National Park conundrum In a horrific event yesterday, a 8-year-old boy fell in the tiger’s den in the Rajiv Gandhi National park.

While in the cage, the boy sat scared for almost 2 hours after which the locals started to throw stones at it causing the tiger enrage.

And as a result the tiger attacked the child and kill him. It shows the negligence as well as the incompetence of the national park officials who could not do anything even after having ample time.
