Explanation:

Ganga River System :

The ganga originate from the Gangotri glacier. The head waters of ganga are Bhagirathi and Alaknanda whose confluence is in devprayag at Uttarakhand. Its tributeries are , Ghagra , Son , Kosi, etc.

Brahmaputra River System :

The Brahmaputra river rises from the east of Mansarowar lake enters India by taking a u-turn through Namcha Barwa (7757m) as Dichang river and combine with Dihang , Lohit and many other rivers to form Brahmaputra in Assam . After it enters Bangladesh and name as Jamuna and after that drain its water in Bay of Bengal.
