This battle was known as battle of taraori and it was fought in 1191...and 1192near the town of tarain (taraori) near thanesar today haryana approximately 150km north of Delhi India between Gurid force led by Mu'izz -al -din and Chauhan rajputs led by prithviraj Chauhan....
