kanishka was the most popular and greatest ruler of the kushan empire. He became third king of kushan empire after succeeding kadphises II. Kanishka was greatest of the kushan emperors in India. During the throne for succession the kadphises II took the last breath and after that kanishka became next successor of the khusana emperors. The relation of the kanishka and kadphises is not there but he became the next line to rule the empire.
