Battle of Britain:

  1. Battle of Britain was the first campaign fought completely by air forces which involved German Luftwaffe and Britain Hurricane. Germany planned operation Sealion. They planned to invade Britain.
  2. The operation started with attacking coastal shipping convoys and centers. As the battle progressed they started attacking the Royal Air Force airfields, infrastructures, factories. They started gradually attacking British towns and cities.
  3. The initial objective of the attack was to land lakh soldiers along the coastal line of South East England. It was the biggest and most sustained air bombing attack. Germany lost this battle.
