Circular motion is the motion in which an object move along a circumference of a circle. It can be uniform or non-unform, constan or non-constant.
The solar system, planets moves in the circular motion and the centre as the sun.

Answer:

  • Circular motion is the motion of a moving body along the circumference of a circle.
  • According to Newton’s theory of gravity, planets orbit and the sun in elliptical orbits that almost follow a uniform circular motion.
  • The “orbital angular momentum” of the planets is almost similar to that of the sun’s orbital angular momentum.
  • The sun stays at the centre with the planets rotating around it in circles of planetary orbits.
