Endoplasmic reticulam is an organelle found in the cells of eukaryotes or eukaryotic cells. It is an interconnected of flattened sacs or tubes encased in membranes.
It is divided into 2 types
-Smooth endoplasmic reticulum or SER
-Rough endoplasmic reticulum or RER.
Functions of SER is to perform or carry on metabolism.
Functions of RER is the site of protein
Synthesis and also it contains ribosomes.
