  • The reproductive parts of a plant are located in flower.

Some flowers have both reproductive system.

  • Male reproduction part in flower

The male reproductive part is known as stamen.

It consists of three ⚟ parts

(1)Anther (2) filament and (3) connecting tube

  • Anther contain pollen grains.

  • Female reproductive part in flower
  • It is known as pistil

Pistil consists of stigma, style and ovary

  • Stigma is the sticky surface on which the pollen grains stick.

  • Style is the tunnel to reach ovary.

  • Pollen grains make cavities in style to make pollen tube to reach to ovary.
  • Ovary have eight cells in it namely (1) synergid cell(2 in number) (2) secondary nucleus (2 in number) (3) antipodal cell(3 in number) and (4) one egg cell.
