Rhizobium as biofertlizer
It is a nitrogen fixing bacteria and enriches the nitrogen content of the soil and the plant.

- Biofertilizers are the substance that contains microorganism's living or latent cells used for increasing crop yield.

● Rhizobium as a biofertilzer -
- Rhizobium cant fix bacteria in free air but requires a plant host. Therefore, its called mutalistic biofertilizer.
- It is fixed in the root nodules of leguminous plants.
- It helps in nutrition of plant by fixing nitrogen.
