Answer:

the B lymphocytes produce an army of proteins in response to pathogen. as it enters into the blood, B lymphocytes get activated and differentiate into plasma cells which secrete a large no. of antibodies in our blood to fight them. those b cells which didnt differentiate remain as memory cells.

antibody on one end binds with antigen( Fab portion) and the other end called Fc ( responsible for effector function).
