the poem represents a perfect setting. there are four elements in the poem. all this four elements match one another. the hemlock tree is a symbol of sadness. snow stands for depression. the crow is considered ominous. poet's mood was also sad but the way in which the crow shook the hemlock tree and the falling of dust of snow changed the poet's mood
