Answer:

Explanation:

  • In case of the traditional Indian society, the division of labour has been based on gender and age. The capacity of the individual is not considered when assigning or dividing the work, and only gender is taken into account. Private gender division ensures that all unpaid domestic tasks are assigned to women and men are expected to go to work to raise money for their families. It's not because men are not required to do house work, just that women have to contend with these household works.
  • As such men gets paid for the whole day work as this his compensation for his productivity.  Whereas, women despite the productive work that she puts in in the form of household work she is not paid. Her work is why the man is able to go out and work  and earn money, as women act as support to the family. The workload of women in India is overwhelmingly heavy, as activities such as cooking , washing, water fetching and firewood are heavily gendered and patriarchal expectations prescribe that women always do care, justify the inability of men to perform their household duties and thus to create women's unequal social status.
  • India has for decades been patriarchal against both genders, affecting the lives of both genders. While the Indian Constitution guarantees equal rights for men and women, the gender gap persists. Analysis indicates that discrimination against women is primarily focused on gender in many ways, including employment.
  • All people agree that housework and the welfare of children are the primary responsibilities of mothers. Where they get compensated for these work, men are willing to do these work. For example, The bulk of hotel chefs and showroom tailors are men since they are being paid for these jobs. In metropolitan settings, poor women work in middle-class households as household helpers, whereas middle-class women work in offices.
  • While women do go out an work, there is gender disparity both with regard to the nature of job as well as in the pay/salary. Mostly women are given jobs which is considered to be more femnine as per the patriarchal society norms. In additions, they are alos not paid in par or higher then men in most case, despite being more educated, qualified, skilled and intelligent for the job. However, men have no such limitations and the norms make society believe that men any day deserve better pay then women
