__BUDDING IN HYDRA-- budding is an asexual method of reproduction . The process takes place as mentioned..

a) In Hydra first a small outgrown called bud is formed on the side of its body by repeated mitotic division of its cells.

b) This bud than grows gradually to form a small Hydra by developing a mouth and tentacles.

c) Finally this new Hydra detaches itself from the body of parent Hydra and lives as a separate organism.
