Answer:

15 is one of the number which is divisible by both 5 and 3.

Step-by-step explanation:

Least common multiple:

  • The least common multiple of two or more numbers is the number that can be divisible by both the numbers.
  • The least common multiple is abbreviated as L.C.M.

Multiples of 5 are 5, 10, 15, 20, 25,.........

Multiples of 3 are 3, 6, 9, 12, 15,18, 21,........

There are so many numbers which are divisible by 5 and 3.

All the multiples of 15 are divisible by 5 and 3.

The smallest common multiple of both 3 and 5 is 15.

By Prime factorization:

  Prime factors of 3 are 1, 3

  Prime factors of 5 are 1, 5

  Least common multiple of 3 and 5 = 1×3×5 = 15

the smallest number which is divisible by both 3 and 5 is 15.

So, 15 is one of the number which is divisible by both 5 and 3.
